Hi guys, hope all had a great weekend!

Can you guys tell me if there's a setting one can change on an e90 where u gently press the indicator and it engages for bout 3 "flashes" as opposed to pressing all the way down for full engagement ?

For some reason this is intermittent?

Depending on model, it is configurable. Pre April 07 it was setup at 3 flicker by default and couldn't be changed unless your car's software was updated.

This is on the on-board setup

If so, its a configuration option under vehicle settings > lights> indicators ( I think)
And you can choose between 3flickers or 5

No iDrive guy! Not too concerned with configuring from 3 to 5

Need to get I to flick 3 times when my fully engaging indicator

Dude, it's a setting on your on-board computer. Use you indicator stalk to get to the menus where it shows you a key wi a tick across it, goin and scroll and you will find it. You can select one flick or 3 flicks

Tried getting to that menu now but no luck! I get kms , then something else then consumption. (Doing this by pressing "BC" on indicator

Isnt it 1 to 3 flicks ? Pretty sure there were 3 options on mine. And mine was on the max which was 3.

The three flashes is so handy and while at first when I just got the car I could not stand it, now it is so useful that I miss it when driving other cars! :thumbs:

My 08 E60 only has one option to enable/disable called triple indicator flash or something. Is there a way to update this or something so I can set it to 5? Maybe I just change lanes slowly but I find 3 a bit short. Prefer about 2 to give notice of my intentions, and then 2-3 while moving.

Lol, i-Drive as a concept is fantastic. The implementation is not bad but as an IT guy it could just be so much better I'm sure the new version *is* better but I don't have it so such as life.

It will be hard to maybe one day go to a car without it.
