Indicators have a gremlin

Hi All
Can anyone shed some light on the indicator problems with an e46 320i 2004. the dash light stay flickering but outside goes off and also the radio controls on the steering wheel stopped working. Any advice would be welcome

Check which one stays off when indicator is activated.

Open it up, replace bulb. If problem persists, check wiring and voltage if you can, and check for moisture inside the housing etc.

The dash lights stay flickering when the indicator lever is in the off position. Outside everything is fine

You are more than welcome to check my DIY fix. This is most likely a grounding issue with your indicators. Common problem on e46. Not too sure about radio controls but have the codes read

Don't think it's an earth problem. His dash lights flash (as they would when indicating) when the stalk is in the off position.

I have no idea what the problem could be. But to hinder a guess. Somethings wrong with the cluster.

Which could also be the root of your cruise control. Have you scanned the car for errors?
