This is some bullshit!!! I hate it!!! I park in the centre of two bays, because even when you park far away from everyone, there is that one Fortuner or ML that always parks next to you :argh:

I have tried to park far from people.
Once some chop parked next to me and while i was in the car his driver door banged into my car. I told him off and his attitude was... its just a little scratch.... bastard

Sorry bud, i know the feeling, the week i picked my E60, some d00s open his 4X4 door on my rear door, my car had the odd scratch, but no dents.
I also was sitting in my previous car when the kid in the next car swung open the door. When i confronted the parents, they told me it was there :argh:
ignoring the fact that when you bring the door close to mine the point of impact is obvious, or the fact that i got the car back from the panel beater 2 days prior....

Not the best feeling to experience when getting back to your car man! 
Also do the 'park away from the entrence' thing to avoid the other 'blind' drivers.
With my previous car I had, I once took the the idiot's windscreen wipers with me just to feel even!! :rollsmile:
To remove the different colour on the dent with some pollish already helps bud!

When I lived in Jhb my cars were dented to shit by doors..... I remember almost everybody opening their doors into my car.
In Capetown I have to admit people are generally careful. I often sit waiting for familly and watch, 19/20 people do actually have respect for the car next to them it's # 20 that needs a kick up the backside.
It's probably only because of the South Easter... if you dont hold on to your car door, you will probably loose it.
