Impressive consumption with my 330i

So two weeks ago I took a drive to Swinburne to go do some rock climbing, I put a full tank of fuel before I left, the drive is exactly 300km one way.
I stuck cruse control on and managed 6.5l/100 there and back, then for the next few days to work and back I was stuck in heavy traffic as always and managed another 210km.

I managed to get a good 808km to a tank when reserve light came on with mixed driving, mostly highway though. I would consider this pretty good for a 2004 330i Manual 6 speed what do you guys think?

I reckon if I just stuck to highway it would have gotten another 100km at least?

Nice. Yes these 330's are surprisingly light on fuel. Got the same consumption on my daily commutes, and that was with a 3.38 diff.

i don't think I've ever managed that with any car haha...damn i was way off that with my 330 too...but i didn't try though so i guess with disciplined driving its possible

That is amazing fuel consumption but I have to say once we (yes also have a 330i) are on the road and going at a constant speed these cars just keep eating up the road and then that lovely 6's pot exhaust sound ....... nothing comes even close to that except the M series.

I average 11.6 km/l since i owned the car.
Mostly long distance.

I've always achieved consumption like that on my 330i.
Town driving was always not more than 10.3

That's with uniQ and 3.38 diff.

I average with my manual E90 330i around 10.5L/100km, 80% traffic and 20% open road
