Import duties + other costs?

Any idea as to what additional costs i might be looking at, at customs?

It depends on allot of variables, I have paid almost nothing (about R40) for customs and duties on products worth about R3000 and I have also paid about R800 for products worth around R1500 so there is no real way to know, best bet is order the stuff and see when they get here:=):

This has been asked plenty of times.. Maybe it needs a sticky

Anyway, there are set duties for car parts and accessories, and you should expect to pay 40% of the cost to customs.
This is for duties + vat.

The only way you're paying less is if you lie .. You could get caught and fined, so its not worth the risk.

The problem is your never know what the idiot at custom is going to do vs he should do.

You can at least ad 14% tax and I browsed through the duties tables and seem car parts is around 15-20% duties.

Custom dont even know sometime under what category they must put an item and thus guess some.

I planning in bringin some suspension part for myself soon and I bargain on 14% tax and 20% duties

Quick question, why are you choosing "black eyelids and grills" when you ordering CF splitters and Roundels.

Choose all CF IMHO

Quick question, why are you choosing "black eyelids and grills" when you ordering CF splitters and Roundels.

Choose all CF IMHO

Weird, my shopping cart on the site shows only the Splitter as CF...
If they had the option of the splitter in 'plain black' then i'd opt for that.

I'm sure there must be someone/place that has the non CF version?!?!

spot on for CAR PARTS.. however depends on the idiots at custom's clasification.
i have however noticed that when i use EMS (express mail international) that i more often than not only pay vat, since they deliver at your door..

Try UPS, I didn't have to pay for any Duty or VAT, but it was basketball jersey...
