Howzit boss, I have my own clearing and orwarding company, what excatly do you want to import, I am sure I can help, but there is a problem with saying it is second hand, rather say it is new so that you do not need permits:thumb:
it is a boot cover for my 525 touring i bought on ebay, so already took the plunge. Ijust wondering if there is going to be a nice bill at custom or not
Would you have to prove that the goods are new? Or can you just claim they are?
And on new goods, what would the duties be on say an intercooler and piggyback chip? Ive have phoned SARS, but i couldnt understand what the woman was telling me.
Oh no.... Didnt know that.
I have the unethical habit of asking for 'reduced' shipping docs :nono:
Its just disgusting that vendors so readily comply with my request
Custom duties for part runs between 20% -30%.
That I always pay.
@andrewbuch, yeah I have also seen that they miss it sometimes.
Most of the times it's on small things.
