Howzit guys,
My name is Richard, I live in Pietermaritzburg and I bought my first BMW at the beginning of October as an early birthday present to myself.
Here it is after it's first wash
The day I got it
And it's first time under the carport
It is a '94 E36 318is that has seen a M50B25 non VANOS swap, has a fresh gearbox out of a six cylinder but still runs the short ratio 318is diff.
It sits on lowering springs (unsure of drop and brand of spring), dealer fitted 7.5J 17" Style32s and rear wing, the rims have received a coat of gloss black and it has a shouty dual 50mm exhaust with two '2 in 2 out' resonators.
This is my only vehicle so the plan for it is to become a clean daily with a little bit of go, tight suspension for twisty roads and all the while a heavenly noise emanating from the rear.
Since summer has now arrived and I have done a few small detail changes and touch ups to my car I'll snap some better quality photos with more creative backgrounds and post them up soon.
Here is a picture of my Caddy that I sold off in order to buy my BMW
BMWFanatics seems like a very helpful forum populated by some decent okes, I look forward to gaining knowledge from the community and offering my help wherever I can.
