I love it, the power on the 330i is phenomenal. She's gone to Rob Green Motorsport this morning for a full check up and then hopefully for some minor bodywork repairs soon.

howdy people,

Thanks for all the posts !!!

I bought the car in Durban last week and drove it up to Jozi. Took it to RGM yesterday morning for a full check up. Recommended repairs and replacements costs are just short of what I actually paid for the car.:dropjaw::dropjaw: Check up cost is R1800 + VAT.

Dude, Im not dissing RGM, but ive been told that they can be a bit on the expensive side.

Id suggest you take the car to TuneTech (Lang Street, Judith Paarl, Jozi). Theyre very reasonable, and have excellent credentials. Just saying, try them.

Yes, they are arguably the best - but certainly not the best priced. I compared prices from RGM and TuneTech for replacement of front and back brake disks and pads. Both were roughly R7800.:dropjaw:

R7,800 for disc and pads... WTF... Then I bet you they dont even change the brake fluid, and even if they do..... DAMM....

I have rebuilt my entire braking system on the 540 for like 5k, then that included recon brake master, hydro booster, flush system. discs and pads all round, and that was me paying somebody to do it, I did not even do that one myself..

Also, you do not always need to replace discs, unless they are done, discs can be skimmed as well...

Love the car dude, that colour is really unique...
