I love my M5 and so does everyone else

I was in Cape Town visiting my cars for the week-end... and my wife and kid and the rest of the family.

The M5 is a beast. I fear I had become complacent and used to it. After 6 months absence I can again attest to it's beastliness.

My wife has been driving it over Christmas as the X5 is with me in Windhoek... she is pleading me to take it away from her before she lands up in jail for speeding. She reportedly hit 180 without realising it... and got upset when i mentioned I may be thinking of selling it.

Now my BIL is using it while his car is in the shop. Every now and a gain I am getting whatsapps about how much it costs to run, and how much to buy one, it seems he thinks the 550i may be a better prospect.

My 3 year old goes Broom Broom wom wom wom (V8 wom wom) when he sees it. And tells me to go faster from the backseat.

The Mcoupe has a dud battery so she stayed parked up :blueCry:

Don't ever sell :praise:

I was looking at Fordkoppes M5... but according to my missus it is pink. She likes the red one better.

One thing is the exhaust makes it tiring to drive... believe it or not it does get a bit much.

I've seen his car, and it's one of the nicest colours for an M5, everything but pink. :(

My car is most definitely not pink. Burgundy would describe it best in most light situations

I was joking with my BIL that he needs to know that as the driver of an //M it is his civic duty to rev it when requested to by anyone.

ya like when you pulling away from someplace and everyone expecting you to at least put it down a little ,you got to entertain a bit, i get irritated when i see a hot car that we wait to see take off and he pulls away like a cake.

By this statement I assume you are one of those who would rev the sweet cheeses out of your cold engine after leaving "someplace" in order to impress some bystander.

Keep up the good work. The dealers would welcome you soon with a busted s85

A cold engine often necessitates this approach..

If per definition "hot car" as in temperature related, this could then also fit the description:

no ford anyone that owns that car should be smart enough to know not to rev a cold car, im talking about a little fun, like when i see a GTR or a V8 about to take off ,i dont expect him to red line it just a little juice.
