I must say that I too am guilty of this.
Turning off the radio just so I can listen to my car without distraction.
Stop at a robot and just look around and admire the beauty of it all.
Watch it as I walk into my house.
Unlock the car just so the lights come on and I can drool over the styling in that glow of light that eminates.
Pat the steering wheel from time to time.
Carefully wash and polish my car, including lying down next to it to make sure I can wash the underside off too.
:inlove::inlove: Ahhhhh!. BMW! YOu beauty!

OK OK STOP STOP
I confess. I did it. I am guilty as charged. Lock me in and throw away the keys. Never to set foot on soil ever again. I will not be living in guilt anymore.
I am GUILTY, GUILTY of loving my car too much.

When I had my silver G-spec E36 M3, probably my favourite BMW I've ever owned, my gf used to literally get upset cos she said I loved my car more than I loved her!!:roflol:

now the question is are you still with her(gf not the car)

I am GUILTY as well...

My favourite is when I drive pass a wall(mirror effect type) and I can see the reflection of the car moving with me in it, it just looks so BRUTAL! :inlove:

who gives there car a light rub on the steering or a pat, after going through a bend quickly or pulling away quickly at a robot, etc?

i do,even caught my self just giving the badge a slight pat,as to say well done

When i still had her i gave her a tap on the dash when ever we went thru alot of bends and when we safe at our destination. When we in a strange place ill go take smoke brakes every hour just to see if she still safe. Oh how n miss my old gal:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:
One day ill have a BMW again

It never stops.

I had my E46 M3 for 4 years, loved that car. Always took a glance when walking away etc.

The same with my E90 M3. The E60 M5 I have now is not as visually appealing as either the E46 or E90, however it is an intimidating looking thing and I love it (even though it is the most temperamental car I have ever owned)

Exactly! And for me it's always so sad when you see these cars in the hands of someone who is not passionate and as caring as they should be!
