Welcome to the forum and congrats on your car.
I am interested in your opinions around build quality, especially around the interior.

Have you owned a BM before, and in a position to compare the build quality of previous cars to this 235i?

Howzit Nastaliq.

Thank you. This is my first BMW, though I have been a fan from lightie days. My dad's 1994 E36 316i started my fanaticism with the brand.

Insofar as build quality, being still fairly new - I have found no faults with the car The interior materials are top notch and the driver's seat is an awesome place to be. Externally, I believe the wheels are slightly too small and am not a fan of the design - though I have been stopped and given compliments on them.

My motoring history is not extensive, comparing the Beemer to my ex Astra H OPC - Its proven to be much more reliable (even at three months old) and with a more up to date cockpit. As compared to my ex Scirocco R - the Beemer seats are more comfortable and supportive IMHO, the Rocc's cabin was marginally larger - accommodated by the wide rear track.

All in all I am very happy with my choice - I believe it is a definite upgrade.

I think if you compare other brands with BMW build quality, you will more often than not, find significant improvement.

Although, in the marque you may find otherwise.
I do tend to agree that a car this monstrous should have at the least 19s staggered.
But then again, I am a big wheels type of guy.
Congrats again on the car.

btw, is that sapphire black or Jerez?

Agreed - 19s at least! Finding a wheel for the F2x with the correct width and offset is seemingly futile.

Black Sapphire - Jerez wasn't available for my car at build.
