Hi Guys,
I apologize in advance for posting this n00b thread...
After research I cant seem to find a guide on 1: how to sell your car privately, and 2: how to buy a car privately.
In the past I have just made use of trade-ins and purchased cars directly from dealers, BUT Im quite keen to try and do it on my own.
For selling my car privately I kinda figured you only deal in cash or EFT, what other documentation needs to accompany the sale?
For buying a car privately Ill obviously check the VIN number, call BMW and check accident history, check warranty status etc, but what else do I need to do to make sure Im not buying a cat in the hat?
Can someone that has experience in the field help out with a guide and some sort of check list?!
All input will be greatly appreciated!
