I was given my first BMW, an old 316i E36 after graduating school when my mother traded up to an E46. I drove that car for over 150 000km. I will never be tempted by any other make.

 1984 I had cash to buy a helicopter after doing training for months, when I went for a ride in my mates company BMW and I was sold, shot out and bought a new one cash.
:nonono: In hindsight - I wonder if it was a bad decision.

Always fascinated by NA cars and especially the 'BMW whine' the engine produces. My Audi A4 1.8 t sounds bland and in my heart I know it is a vw variant.

A few of us were standing around one night at a garage discussing cars and we were talking about how cool it would be to own E30's..

I jumped first, and between the four of us, the last few years have been... interesting (spanners, tow ropes, learning, looking for parts, tyres, upgrades, the roadtrips, injuries, accidents, new friends, good times)

Never paid attention to the brand, was a Ford and still a Ford lover...but them a friend with an E30 325is came along.....& the rest is self explanatory! :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

Took interest, did research, BMW is unrivalled! :praise: :praise:

I'm a through and through car NUT and BMWs are natural classics because they age better than..... other things:tease: so naturally the 330i e46 Individual was the obvious first car choice!

I think we can all agree that before considering a beemer we were afraid of running cost, repair/maintenance cost and atrocious resale. But after research I wanted something with aircon and RWD and the BMW brand already stood above the rest.

Lastly 300 on the clock was added to my shortlist and the M3 won... Obviously

My parents owned an 320i e46. When the e90 came out I was not really a fan. That changed last year. My wife has always been a BMW fan and at the time she asked me to find her a good one. We went for a test drive, the car was an e90 325i m sport pack. I drove the car...was immediately converted. The drive, power, handling, comfort...it's the complete package.

Now, a year later, I drive a BMW...my wife does not. Gotta love marriage.

I blame my dad. He had an e36 323i and then an e39 528i and than he got an e46 330Ci. I was hooked after driving all of them, especially after driving the 330Ci. I just had to get an e46. That's when i bought my e46 325i in '04. Been driving a Beemer since.

Was overwhelmed by the interior of the E65 when they came out new.

Always wanted one, and when I could afford it, I bought it.

Have owned 5 since...

Lz, Lz, Lz... E65, where do I start. Ever since I had the chance to rev one up inside the showroom... I am SO in the market right now, but my head still declines the deal. There is nothing wrong with the E46 my head says, but look at the E65 my heart says...

Was into American muscle cars, and still am, as a kid, when my mother got her first BMW, a 1975 E12 520A. I immediately fell in love with this car, which was eventually handed down to me. By then I was already a BMW fan for life, and have never owned another brand of car. In fact, I have only ever owned 5 Series Be-ems. Strange.
