Hi guys.
So my last power mod has been done. And it is quite sad to think about it.
In the past year we transformed the car from factory 155kw & 280nm to plus/minus 250kw and 520nm. (Talking about flywheel figures)
All the modifications that we did is purely bolt on. (Expect software hehehe)
It is quite shocking/funny to think that we can revert all the modifications in a single day, which took us a year to complete basically. This is mainly due to the lack of cash :roflol:....which took a year to arrive hahaha
So..........what was my last mod....
Some people absolutely love it....some people really hate it. (Due to the fact of consistent problems & maintenance.)
This infamous modifications is called
Water Meth Injection. (Or known in short as "wmi")
There is plenty kits around.
I opt for the Devils Own Stage 2 Progressive kit.
Why Devils Own Stage 2 Progressive kit?
It's simple: Local support and all parts comes with a full 1 year warranty. This kit(s) has been around for some time. In my eyes...best bang for your buck. One can afford it without breaking your bank too much haha! :fishwack:
This kit comes with the following parts:
1 x Reverse Control device (Check Valve or Solenoid)
1 x Super High Atomising Nozzle
1 x Filtered Self-sealing Easy Install Tank Outlet Fittng
1 x 300 PSI High Pressure Recirculation Pump
1 x Progressive Controller - Devilsown Controller (DVC30 Internal Map Sensor)
1 x Nozzle Holder (90 Degree or Straight Type Available)
1 x 4M Nylon Piping
Additionally I purchased the following items:
300PSI Solenoid Upgrade
CTS Turbo Dual Port Boost Tap - TSI/ FSI Motors
D05 nozzle
If you want more information about the kit you can visit

In short..it took us about 4-5 hours to complete the installation. We really took our time. Nice and slow. Making sure no "shortcuts" were taken.
Here is some pictures during the installation:
CTS Boost tap installed. This was so easy and straight forward:
Evolution Motorsport intake removed (EVOMS):
Front Bumper Removed:
Wipers, Wiper motor removed with plastic covers:
For those who do not know - This is where and what the Golf 6 GTi ECU looks like:
WMi Kit exposed:
We used the window washer bottle to tap the water meth from:
(Yes some people use a separate tank/bottle which is located in the boot...but we decided otherwise. It is less labour & plumping intense. The more piping = more chance of problems) So we kept it simple and short)
We then routed the nylon pipe through the front (from driver side to passenger side), making sure there is no "bends or Knicks"
Upgraded 300psi electronic controlled solenoid exposed.
We mounted it somewhere under the car....(Can't remember exactly where)
300 PSI High Pressure Recirculation Pump exposed & mounted it on sub frame with proper bolts and washers. (Passenger side)
We took out the throttle pipe and installed the D05 nozzle. (This is where the meth sprays)
We wrapped all wires properly with cloth tape and routed it from the engine fuse box & Pump, through the plastic firewall cover, into the driver's glove box:
We then wired the DVC30 Progressive controller with an on/off switch
Last but not least....Ivan installed a 10 amp fuse just for in case something goes wrong with the pump and doesn't fry my fuse box or probably something worse like my ECU :bangdesk:
Ivan then went forth to bleed the system and to double check everything!
I cannot explain how happy I am to be a Revo customer. The effort and quality workmanship is from the top shelf.
And to think about it...before Ivan started with my meth installation...he did a K04 conversion.

(We worked till 1AM in the morning)
Huge rave to Ivan & Revo.
Thank you guys for everything. I really appreciate it. One can see when someone takes their work seriously and with passion.
Thanks to Revo, I drive my GTi everyday without any hassles.
Thank you for reading.
Cheers! Rommies out :ty:
