Its been a while since i had a look at this thread...but not much updates happening here...
Im thinking about ordering Carly WiFi for BMW...but works out to be R1100 for the adapter and then R700 for the app. R1800...mmmm i dunno

Next real update im looking at doing is upgrading my steering wheel to the M performance Alcantara one, just cant find anyone selling one atm...dont want to pay BMW prices on that.
Then next up after that a set of coil overs and spacers, and then my ACS springs will go up for sale...

I am using it mostly for go kart sessions along with the go pro attached...

Also im looking to getting a set of these wheels in 18" at some stage. The only deal breaker currently is i can't fit oem ones on as they too aggressive for a 1 series fitment. But the reps seem to fit seeing as they have an offset of 45 about at the rear. Still undecided...

I havent put much km on my M135i...using my bakkie as a daily has sparred the M135i into being a weekend toy mostly.
Should be using it allot more in December though with holidays coming up.
Next trip will be to durban...looking forward to that. It always sounds so much nicer at the coast...and with DP and MPE its going to be 10 times better

OK so update.
I took the plunge and purchased a Alcantara m performance steering wheel from a fellow forum member. It's the one with the race display.

Once I get a chance I'll get it fitted and post photos.

OK so as discussed in another thread I purchased a m performance steering wheel with race display.

I must say the quality of the Alcantara is to notch. And the feel is very race inspiring so to say.

Bmw installed it for me, however they are unable to get the display to work. Reason given is that my car doesnt have some sort of connection to accommodate it. Although when I went to another bmw branch using my bmw Vin I was able to order the race display steering wheel....so according to me that tells me it should work.

Anyway I'll have it sorted when I have a bit more time.

@m135i did you eve manage to source a spoiler? i think Racers edge in Durban has them and i am also looking for it. i will try and and see if i can get an actual pic from them.

Im now looking into my steering wheel head on, trying to figure out why its not working and see where i can get assistance from.

Lets see how it plans out.
If i look on RealOEM it seems i can order the wheel for my car so it shouldnt be an option compatibility issue as i used my VIN to get to it.
Lets see...

I read your thread from beginning to end because I'm considering a M135i. Great car overall. Quick question id you manage to get the steering wheel to work?

Does the DP affect your warranty or motorplan? I assume the MPE doesn't since it's a BMW product right?
