I forgot to update - did a Charge Pipe upgrade over end November i think it was.
My oem plastic charge pipe went boom on my way back from the coast during a weekend away and needed a aluminium replacement. Didnt bother looking for another oem one. Contacted Danny from DSC - he organised me one for a manual F20 and came to help install it on a Sunday. Great service, and highly recommended.
Then end Dec i did an oil and oil filter change, as well as air filter. Car was boosting happily over the festive period.

Im toying with the idea of removing the rear wiper and doing a rear wiper delete.
In terms of functionality i don't use it much anyway and it would give the rear a much cleaner look. Any ideas where i could procure a wiper delete kit for the F20?

Thanks

Long time no updates...
So I had been toying with the idea to get a second set of rims. Had to be 19" and oem. Not many sets for the 1 series in my requirements. But along came a set of 225 style oem wheels. I jumped on these...

In going for a square setup to ensure it fits , so trading my wides (9j) for a fellow forum members narrows (8j).

So I'll have 8j all around.
Took a few pics of my test fitment. They will need a refurb paintwise to get them where I want them to be, i have a below illustration on the colour ill be going for.

Here is the fitment with the 9j on the rear :

They poked out more than what I would like in the 9j as per above pics

On the 8j:

Much better

The end result should look similar to the below. Looking to paint the wheels a darker metallic shade. But ill take my time with this as still need to source tyres as well.

I think the 9j is great for scene points and looks but i think im going to mess up my fenders down the line. Would need to go with a skinnier tyre on the 9j whereas with the 8j i can go max out on tyre width, either a 245 or at most 255. i think with the 9j i would have to go max 235.

if im not mistaken you dont have to roll there isn't a lip inside the fender....in all honesty i think it would tuck....when it goes lower it has more negative camber.....ja you couldn't flex on the tyre i have 235's on 9j wheels.

That is a sick looking wheel, that 9J looks lovely but that poke is just a it too much...even in Silver on that EB...it pops and looks good! Nice wheel choice there!
