Hello Everyone,

:tiptoe:

First time BMW owner. Just got my car in March, and I love it. Shifts beautifully. Handles perfectly. Eats my fuels like a sports car should and kicks the VW's a**'s.

But I have to say I'm sad... because I really want to get rid of her for this (or should I say I am just upgrading her ;-) ):

I am test driving her tomorrow. Do you guys have any advice? Anything bad I should know about the car?

Can I purchase an extended motorplan?

Let me know what you think of the baby.

Welcome dude.

Be sure to check the motorplan comments on the M3.

An extended motorplan will only last so long, so you should begin saving for bearings immediately after purchase, just in case they outlast your motorplan but fail shortly after. Throttle actuators are another item that should be saved for.

Thanks PandaShae,

I will test drive the M3 and the F30 335 2012... If it makes sense to get the 335 then I will

Ok,

So I phoned the guy just to check up about the motorplan on the M3. He says that I can extend it till 2017 if I want. It covers everything, except the tyres.

If anything goes wrong, BMW will take of it.

I am going to test drive it.

Do you think that it's a good deal?

Looks like a good buy bud! Don't take what PandaShae said lightly, the bearings and actuators are a big problem on these cars. So best to do preventative maintenance:thumbs:
After that its all smooth sailing, you'll love it, guaranteed! If you have the means, don't waste time, go for it! The sheer brutality of the ///M cant compare to the 335, trust me - the 335 is very fast and very comfortable but an ///M V8 is a diff animal, proper sports car! This particular one even has the CIC system which is also a big plus and M Performance parts too. I say go for it if your happy after the test drive. Good luck!

Ok so I didn't manage to buy this one. Only because I got so busy at work. There is another 2010 M3. I started it up and rev'd it a little. The interior looks a bit bad but the sale guy says that it hasn't gone for a valet and they will fix the seats as well. It just looks like a downgrade ( just based on the inside). the sales guy says he will get it to a good condition on the inside. I don't know if I should trust him or not. Here's the link to the car. I can get the cars warranty extended. I don't intend on keeping the car for more than a year or two. Purely want to purchase to enjoy it now.
