Herman's new M Coupe

It was a cold and wet Thursday in one of the most beautiful places in our amazing country where I met this little beast in the flesh.

It almost did not happen I tell you, but as it was long weekend, the wife and I thought, ag, WTF, let's go check it out... And just in case things go well, plan a epic road trip back home.

Well, after much running about we successfully concluded the deal, and we were ready to hit the road...

And so we did, on a brisk Saturday morning departing from beautiful Paarl.

Our plan was to sleep over at Gariep at a B&B, turned out the Coupe could not get up their driveway ... so we thought, let's push on, we could see home at 21:00... so we did, and true enough, after 13 hours, three of which eventful night driving, saw us home safe but smashed.

I test drove the car with it's OEM wheels fitted, smooth as silk, and the huge brakes fitted in the 18", but when my wife saw the 20's, it was game over... So I requested the 20's be fitted for our trip home.... we had the wheels checked and balanced on Friday morning, after which the ride was good enough to tackle the road. In fact, the ride was great... 245/285 front rear respectively, on rails man.

Sure, it rubs a little on less then perfect roads, but I aim to pick it up to OEM geometry, and the rubbing should be sorted.
