Help with sensor

Guys.

Any idea what this sensor is and were it goes.

If you can zoom out a bit we can tell you. In the alternative just look for a plug place in that area that has no plug in it and that one fits

I checked. It's coming of the maf sensor harness. Will take a pic in a while. The cable is only long enough to reach the abs pump or throttle body

I see your airflow metre isn't connected with the filter?


It is connected to the filter.... were does that plug into the maf? And what is it.

e36.

Was on real oem for e few hors searching every diagram of engen bay. Couldn't find were it goes.

Thanks man.... Btw. Does the e46 have that sensor? Were does it go and what's it for.

I believe it is a dummy connector. Different engines may need different sensors. Cheaper to commonise 1 wiring harness over a number of engines. The plastic connector going into the end of the cable should have a part number on it...

No part number on it. Just 3 letters if I remember correctly. And a small hole on either side.
