Help with Diesel Pump E46 320d

My car would start, my merchanic told me its the diesel pump. there agents are charging me R42200. (its safe to say thats a second hand Tazz) where do I find a cheap 1 around Pretoria?:bangdesk::argh:

back one fitted was R4500 and that was 4 weeks ago. Thats original part.

Hi Ziggy. The injector pumps are unfortunately very expensive. Not all is lost though. I had mine rebuilt a month ago for 8k at a reputable bosch specialist. BRIEGEL diesel in CT. Rebuild normally includes gaskets, rollers and springs, sensors if needed. Very important is to check if they have the necessary test benches, otherwise the car will never start. Good luck

ish I managed to get 1 for R2450 but now my ignition switch packed too from too many start tries. have to get it too.

found it at Bemow spares in PTA, but thats for the small pump under the car not the engine 1.
