I never get why people remove the Numbers...

It just says I am to cheap to buy a more powerful car.

Just my 2 cents.

:fencelook:

I'm not cheap, I just can't afford a more powerful car. I'm only 21, working my first job and I'm saving up to buy a house. I think it would be foolish to park an M3 at my 2 bedroom apartment or at my parent's house.

I'm removing the numbers because I've always liked the sleeper look. I know its irrelevant because its just a 323i, so I'm not about win any races. But if I could afford something more powerful, it wouldn't have numbers either.

the 323i is basicly a 325i with a very conservative tune...

Thanks
You sure that's all it takes?

What about manifolds and what not?

Just one more sleep till I take delivery...

I have grown up in a family with my dad removing badges, does not matter what car he always removed the badge. whether is was the 745i with the M1 engine, or the E38 740i or the 635csi (??) 323i or 325i or 525i or 318i or 316i or 320i.. all of them get the badges taken off. I feel it gives a cleaner look..

i get you , glad you got ur priorities right !! ive seen m3's parked in front of some dodgy apartments in some dodgy areas and i allways wonder...WTF ? so whenever see a m3 with a dude like that ( no front teeth and the whole cheap tatoo thing going on ) i know he cant afford a garage for the vehicle

I have a cousin who's changed cars a couple of times and he still lives with his folks. He's well over 30, drives a Merc C class, works a proper job (at FNB) and he lives with his parents... I:hammerhead: just don't get it

Bottom line , people remove numbers so they make people wonder whats under the bonnet , its usually a 1600/1800 / e90 320 with a nice body kit.
and they ussually loose all of the TLGP stories, until.......the guys with the big engines latched on , remove numbers and modify the engines, to win all TLGP stories as revenge for the other guys who lost all thiers.

my bottom line 2c, i still think the wifeys hairdryer works best though !
