Hi Members,

Torn between the below two cars, any recommendations are appreciated:

BMW e92 325i MSport 2010 with 54000kms (PDC, no sunroof).

BMW e93 330i non Msport 2011 with 80000kms (PDC rear).

Both cars are manual.

Cost very similar, the 325i is about 15k more because of the mileage.

I have driven the 330i and it was very smooth, but now I'm thinking for 15k more get the sportier, maybe slower (but weighs less?), less km car.

Both cars FSH at BMW, very neat.

Thanks for the help.
Regards

I am not a convertible fan.. They are heavier and less dynamic than their coupe counterparts, IMO. Plus in our South African climate, where we can't even leave our windows open, driving around with the top down seems risky.. :fencelook:

In the 2 door body style, I prefer the motor sport version of the coupe.. It just looks so good and if I'm being honest, has a lot more presence versus the exclusive.. Go drive the 325i and see if the power deficit is noticeable enough, given the lack of weight.

do you live by the coast? the only reason i wouldnt take either is because...1. no sunroof...2. non msport

Go with the e92 as its a msport and has low millage. Also im not a big convertable fan.

There is a huge difference i feel between the msport and non msport.

Father in law has an E92 325...awesome car. Convertibles are dodgy when getting older imo.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Finally pulled the trigger on the E92.

Car is immaculate, the previous owner looked after it proper.

Will post pics next week.

Test drove it on Wednesday night and was sold, not the fastest car ive driven but definitely one of the smoothest.

Great decision, Moose’s cars are extremely well kept.
