Hi
Is there someone that can help me please . My bmw 318i n42 bmw has a lower than usual idle and it shakes the car a bit. I have changed the breather hose from intake manifold to inlet pipe and have cleaned the afm and throttle body and checked for leaks in the oil catch box under the air cleaner box as mine was catching the one pulley wheel and plastic got frayed so I glued it closed. Anyway, the only fault code but no eml light comes on is P0139- post o2 sensor voltage low. So I replaced the o2 sensor yesterday cleared the fault code but car still idles a bit rough.
I have also replaced the engine mounts . It sometimes smokes a bit on start up but goes away and smoke smells like petrol fumes. I have read that a faulty pcv valve under the intake manifold can throw the settings out , maybe a hose is frayed leading to the pcv valve from the intake manifold , is there someone on here that can blank it off for me as I do have a filter breather for the sump to breath or can someone please check for a cracked pipe around the pcv or under intake manifold for me at a good rate? I.e. Have to remove intake manifold I heard.?
