Help needed on my E36 right hand door

Hi guys

Hope you all are doing well. I have a 1997 E36 Motorsport and for some reason the lock that slides over the pin to close and lock the door is broken. I tried to open it up and it seems the hinge that opens and closes over the pin is bust. I think it might be a spring problem.

Anyone know how I can fix it as the door will not close now. or where I can take it so that someone can have a look for me?

Have you tried looking for some DIY's on it those things are normally quite simple to fix?
