Wow dude. There is some good deals right there. I'm sure i'll be able to pick one from these deals. Damn Cape Town has all the cars i'm looking for.

Good luck bro...

Hi
We break BMW's here in Cape Town and our experience is if you are buying a used BMW then get a sixer and avoid the four pots - (esp diesels). The two 320's you found look good but the 2001 model is confusing since it should be a pre/facelift model it its 2001. The 2.2 motors are good and performance is close to the 325 of the same era - I've had both. Sold my 320 2001 (2.2) to my bro in law who is averaging 7litres per 100 km. Watch out for chancers selling-accident-damaged-and-repaired cars on Gumtree - there are plenty.
Good luck
Jacques

What do you mean you break BMW's?

We buy accident damaged cars, break them up and sell the used parts - what did you think we did?:)

So I finally bought my Beemer.

It's a 2005 318i MSport II, 93K on the clock, FSH.

I am very happy with the car.

Thanks for all the advise on this forum.

Pics will follow soon.

...guess he wants to make up his own mind about the 318i.

Congrats Deano, nice package having Msport II. When you decide it hasn't got enough grunt, then its engine swap time!!

Hi Deano,

Think it is a bit overpriced. Check out www.bmw.co.za and click on "Approved used cars". You can do a search there for the BMW you want and it will be from a BMW dealer.

The E46 BMW is the best 3-series that I owned. Its awesome. Stay away from an E90 if you don't have motorplan, mine is always in for repairs.
