Depreciation is a part of life, like taxes. I think it comes down to the OP and if he will use all those gadgets that are in the vehicle.

The used is 5k more, i say take that 5k add another 5k and get a sunroof. you`ll be smiling bud, that Msport sooks grand, but it is up to you, do you want looks or gadgets :thumbs:

Go for M-Sport , resale to a 2012 makes a huge difference to a 2013.

Take the M-Sport bud... It'll definitely look wayyyy better, and i reckon even for resale, it'll be more appealing.

I would have got a sunroof though. i kinda find it pointless to have a car that sporty, but no sunroof

Vitchie, I was following you on the Audi forum where you were kopping some flack for choosing the BMW over the Audi (and I got flack for saying choose what's best for you!). The used is very tempting, cos it's got loads of extras,but think about it this way. The used is only R5k MORE than the new,and it's a year old,with R70k worth of extras,that's a lot of loss in value over a short period of time... and extras pretty much add little to NO value to your resale value. On the uvver hend Derren, you gonna lose 25% straight up on the new one. The M Sport does look fantastic, saw one this morning,and although I am not a huge fan of the new 3, it does look amazing in that spec.

And a decent Garmin costs R4k....lol
