HELP Again, weird noise in or around exhaust??

Medres helped me out on my previous post (thanks!) so Im hoping someone could assist me here:

My car has developed the weirdest noise it started about 5months ago in or around the exaust at idle only. It sounds like a ringing noise but with a metallic vibration no one else hears it or knows what it is has anyone experienced this and had it sorted out?? please give me your thoughts!!???

Loose bracket, failing cats, have u visually checked underneath?

Had a similar issue on Friday. Turned out to be one of the supporting brackets on top of the exhaust had broken off.

You might also want to check the heat shielding below the car can also rattle it its loose.

cats get damaged easy if something hits the box when you are driving.

same happend to me, replace your cats or remove them before the insides get stuck in the exchaust pipe, this will block the air flow and cause more problems

Great! Good excuse to get rid of the cats I will also check the heat shield and mounting brackets to see if these are the culprits.
