HELP 2.8 Washer bottle!

I am at the end of the road trying to get one of these. I found one second hand but there seems to be two locations in MY 98 for some reason. One is at the front of the vehicle and mine is at the rear of the engine compartment.

I have tried everything.

Does anyone have any ideas. My VIN is LE91070 if that helps.

Also sent email to BMW S.A for what it is worth.

Can you post a Picture of your engine bay and possibly the washer bottle that your looking for?

If you take it off , you could take down the part number, take it to your dealer and order a new one . Its not an old car , BMW would be able to order you a new one ex Germany . Should take a week or two to come .

I think these cars shared washer bottles with standard E36 vehicles so you shouldn't be having an issue finding them new or used .

Sounds like your engine bay looks like this , if the washer is at the back .

Yup that is how the engine bay looks. Z is not with me at the moment. It stood for many years so is off for a bit of refurb It has only done 53k kilos. I am told that the local BMW guys said that the bottle is not obtainable. I have a pic of the old one but not a part number.
Have asked for it. Can't believe such a simple thing has been so difficult to get done.
