HELP -07 Cooper S R56 Auto-Smoke on takeoff

Hi guys, Im new to this forum .

My wife has purchased a 07 Mini Cooper S Auto with 67000kms a few months back, F.S.H With mini dealer in durban.

I have driven the vehicle this past weekend and i noticed that the vehicle puffs a bit of smoke now and then when i take off from a robot. It does not do this all the time.

The car does not smoke on idle nor does it smoke when driving.

She drives beautifully.There is no power loss and no warning lights on dash.

Is this normal? Should i be worried?

What could be the problem?

Fit oil catch tank.

Is it completely random or are there set parameters? Warm/cold under load? certain rev range?

Can be vacuum system or turbo related.

O and what oil is in the car?

Hi Willy, completely random but only when i take off from a robot/ initial pull away. Nothing thereafter

Oil- as per agent spec.

The car is not losing any oil and the oil level is spot on.

Its calling for a service in 01/02/2016.

I have read on some other forums that it could be a pcv pipe where oil builds up.
