Hi Guys.

While trying to log a run last night on my 335i, one of the clamps came loose at the reducer pipe, on the intercooler connecting to the charge pipe.

I tightened the clamp and everything is working again, the car feels much stronger after tightening the clamp again.

But i want to replace the clamps with heave duty T-clamps.

Will the local Midas or Autozone stock these?

Getting the heavy duty t clamps is a much better option. What charge pipe are you running btw?

Okay not sure on he design. . Get the t clamps and another thing I would consider, if it doesn't have one already, is the engine bay mounting.

Most aftermarket charge pipes don't come with them, The ER CP does and IMHO it makes a difference with movement. I haven't the charge pop off since fitting the ER.

The PSR charge pipe is similar in design to the COBB CP.

Do you know where i can get the T-clamps from?

Try the places that sells industrial type filters.
The Donaldson clamps are very good, not cheap but worth the money.

There is a shop around corner from xflow in randburg. Cant remember name of shop. Chat to allistair at xflow. He can give you directions.

I used these clamps on my 335 and never had any issues.

JKM Industrial supplies.

Any Builders warehouse will sell them too.

I called JKM Industrial supplies and they dont stock the T bolt clamps.

Tried Builders, they dont stock either.

I'll go to MR Turbo over the weekend.

Which Mica?

I would also like to know...?

I've tried my local Mica, Midas, Builders and even Autozone with zero success:blueCry:

I got the clamps at Volkspares in Jetpark but they gave me the wrong size.

Will have to go back this weekend and exchange them for the right size.
