Air vents blowing out cold air on driver side and hot air on passenger side when the heater is on.

Can anyone tell me why this is? What i need to check?

Center vent also blowing cold.

This happens at windscreen, dash & feet vents. All left vents (passenger) hot and all right vents (driver) cold when heater on.

I only changed the brake booster vacuum hose recently. But the air vent problem has been there for a while now. Just never got around to checking it out.

No incidents/accidents.

Check your heater control valve. Pass anger side valve is probably stuck open allowing warm coolant in. Or perhaps your HVAC controls could be faulty.
Just suggestions....not written in stone

Thanks. I'll check. But how exactly do I check the heater control valve. Do I have to take it out of the car? What am I checking for?

Just another question. Is warm coolant not supposed to enter if i switch the heater on?

Check the heater valve, its number 11 in the picture below.

want to say tap tap the heater valves while you have the heater on and the car idle to see if the valve release :fencelook: by checking if the temperature changes on the driver side's vents
