Headlight bulb issues

My light were both working fine but were very dull so i took them out to have a look see what type of bulb i need? Now i put them back and now they are not working ai? Dont know why help please?

Put on your headlights and gently tap your light control module (LKM) in the fuse box in the bonnet and see if they come on. My e34 has got a problem on the LKM now which entitle soldering which I have been to lazy to do so far. My park lights, brights and spots are all working fine except for the dims.

well you see like i said befor they were kak lights anyhow and i am going to autostyle this week to get new light i had a look at the globes this the are 55w?

and the wire in the globe is lose? that is weird because its not suposed to be lose? but yet they were working befor could this explain why they dont work?

You have to expect 10year+ cars to have slight corrosion problem on the electricals after a couple of years by the seaside. Q20.

I have had a similar situation before.. All lights worked, then I took the bulbs out to see what kind they are and when I put them back in the didnt work. somehow in the removal & refitting process they got broken.

Night breakers :thumbsup: I lost a spotlight compliments of a guinea fowl and thought that the R200 was a bit much for a new set, so I passed. Until I walked into Midas and they asked R144 EACH for the normal bulbs. So first chance I get, Ill take those night breakers again.

Found osram cool blue bulbs in e36 good whitish light best price from local Diesel Electric in East London . Wire in bulb should not be loose,also potholed roads shorten bulb life .

Where ever you go, ask for discount.. @ri managed to get discount on his from mica.. Just ask, the worst that they will say is no..

okay so i managed to figure out my problem.... besides the globes being broken , helllllllo my fuse blew aswell now i feel like a ass.

so i bought xeon lights man oh man what a difference in lihgting, and i found my small park lights were blown too replaced them with white lihgts mmmm looks good .

i have bought a set of mags style 32 for my car will fit them next month and i om taking her in for a major service plugs filters the whole shpeel this week comming, k&n aif filter. having a upper strut brace custome made for her and fixing the rust in the sunroof having it sprayed black and lastly having the motorspot stripes made for the bonnet....
