Thanks. I had the car at the agents to try and rectify the problem and they could not find any fault (codes). Then took it to Combined Electronics in Plattekloof (Cape Town) and the guy (Henry) suggested i leave the car there so that he can hook up his computer and try and solve the problem as he was convinced that with certain adjustments he would be able to solve it. I did not have time (or money) to do that as with the aircon on it "solved" the problem for the time being anyway. I have lots of confidence in Combined Electronics as these guys know what they are doing, although they are not cheap!, so suggest you take your car there for them to sort out the problem.
