This is my new car, its a 2007 320i m sports pack.

Just want to know if it is normal to give a harder ride than the stock exclusive pack?

Could it be because of the stock factory lowering kit?

You answered your own question there. The Msport does have a more aggressive suspension than an exclusive pack :thumbs:

Added to that, im intrested in putting on the 19inch CSL replica rim? if i replace the rim and not use run flats, will it affect the run flat icon on my dash screen?

Will not affect the run flat icon, but will your motorplan. If the car still has motorplan, then you have 2 choices:

1. Do not upgrade
2. Buy 19" run flats

If you hate the hard ride now, won't low profile RF 19s be even worse?
Wait until the end of the year & lose the RF tyres altogether.

congrats on the car :thumbs: ..and like navz said..bigger rim with lower profile tire is only gonna make your drive harder..rather keep your rimz which already look good and put normal tires after your MP expires..normals are cheaper depending on what you buy, but will soften your drive up a lot..also ul have to get a biscuit spare with tools if you go to normals after Motor Plan..

Sportspack suspension is harder than the Exclusive suspension, then 18" RFT's you are going to be in for a pretty firm/choppy ride. There is a specific 19" 335i wheel that is known to develop cracks due to the hard suspension and stiff RFT side walls. So I personally wouldn't wish 19" RFT's onto anyone, even 18" with the harder suspension is asking a bit much in my opinion.

So, if you are going to sell your current wheels when fitting the 19" reps (I am not sure, but suspect that reps aren't designed for RFT's) do it when your motorplan is finished and stick non-RFT's on. If you are keeping your old wheels or not pressed to sell them, then you can use them as your "service" wheels.

i wont sell the 18's but i really like the look of the 19 csl rim. Il check the thickness of the pocket end of year and make my decision then... :ty:

I would buy the 19s and fit normal tyres. THE RFTs will break those wheels easily.

Just keep the original wheels and put them on if the car has to go into bmw.

I took my car in while still on plan with my 19s and all they said was they will not do wheel alignment.

Maybe due to the smaller sidewall...

The profile is though lower - so I think the difference in ride quality offsets each other when going from a higher RFT to a lower non RFT. I felt a difference though when going from RFT to non RFT on the same size tyre.

Heavier when turning could be because the 19" is wider than the previous wheels?

If you put BMW approved non-RFT's it will be fine. They had no motorplan issues. I just notified insurance.
Check with your specific dealer though. Each dealer somehow has their own opinions and interpretation of rules and regulations.
