What's the price on a set of these to lower an E46 ? But to still run on 19's ? The front of the E46 seems too high

hey :) do you have the 19" fitted now? it really depends on tire size and the offset of the rims...

I have:

-35 front and -20 rear for R 2610

-55 front and -35 rear for R 2700

I also hate the how the front arch gap is larger than the rear with stock springs :yuck:

i would go for the lesser drop :)

i would also not fit 19" they will slow your car down there is no point in going larger than 17" performance wise and on a lowered car with the right offset 17" look awesome

55 drop at the front is massive bud , haha I doubt I'd go over any speedbumps after that .

I've been thinking about Performance vs Looks and with my 325i I think I should rather go for looks because its hard to get any significant gains on performance . I'm looking at 19" wheels cause they just look so good , and 18"s somehow look small on the E46 . :fencelook: Maybe with the drop it will be perfect though ?

But now you confused me again , thinking

19"s with 35 front and 20 rear
or
18"s with 55 front and 35 rear

I'm sure the second setup will give a really nice stance to the car . Decisions Decisions :argh:

with 18" wheels im pretty sure you can keep the overall diameter the same...

with 19" the overall diameter will be larger so not only do you have more rotational mass, but you also kill some torque because of the larger diameter...

-55mm is huge like you say i would not want to try drive with an e46 that low i would rather go with the -35mm drop...

what i would do is fit the -35mm springs then decide what rim size will work best

if you fit the springs 1st you can also make sure you get wheels with the right offset to get the perfect stance otherwise you might have to get spacers later to get it perfect... what wheels do you have on the car now?

I thought more of a permanent translated page to implement into the forum as its php code

Would be a very useful feature and upgrade the forum nicely!

even 17" will look damn good when the car is lowered maybe once you lower it you will decided to rather do a colour change on the rims

in the mean time go find pics of lowered e46 to help you decide :)

I want that rim , sprayed slightly darker , in a narrow wide configuration in 18"s . The car also slightly dropped will look super sexy

does look good but i would still rather go for 18" or 17" with the right offset and drop  the pics i posted are with the standard offset with spacers the look of the car will improve alot :)
