Is passing allowed? Cos it's maybe the only time I'll get to pass any M's on a track![]()
Michael Broom said:Hello Fanatics,
Just a quick update for you. We have had some guys pull out of the parade for various reasons that have meant they cannot make it. That said, the current count of registrations is 449, way exceeding our expectations.
We have to close the online registrations this evening, however we would never want to turn anyone away who wants to be a part of this historic moment.
We have made provisions to take registrations on the day as we believe the demand has increased in the last week. If you have not registered, please do still come on the day. You will be asked to park in the parking area just before the tunnel where a volunteer will then take your registration, allocate you to the BMW Fanatics parking area, give you the necessary stickers etc. and you are then part of it and can join the rest of the Fanatics in Parking 2.
To those who have diligently registered and paid before this evening, thank you so much for your support. We will negotiate with Guinness after the event to include the entries on Saturday as part of the parade count. I can only hope that this massive number will sway their decision on when entrants need to be registered by.
Thank you for your understanding in this.
See you all there, this will be a day to remember I am sure.
