Just had a look at the track and parking layout and I'm sticking to parking area 1, better entrance onto the track. Anyways, it's not that far apart from parking area 1.
So, you do not want to be part of the BMW Fanatics group ?
Mailed Michael Broom and asked him to move me. I want to see that Red Baron of yours.

And it would be better to drive in the pack as I want to capture it on the GoPro as well.
That sounds better
I've been moved to the Fanatics group.

Kobus, jou kar beter skoon wees. Nie soos 'n sekere ander persoon met 'n rooi BMW nie. :nono:
Glo my hy gaan wees. Hy gaan deur Tiaan gedetail word :joy:

Just a question on the convoy wouldn't it be better to head south on N1 take Allendale off ramp drive straight to the track using that route?
From what I can see it should be shorter than using the N14/R55 route?:fencelook:
I hope I didn't miss anything important previously mentioned by saying this.
Yes it will be shorter, but what's the point of that ? Do you want a 5 minute convoy or a 20 minute ?
Guys
I have made a suggestion of the Shell Ultra City North bound on the N1 North, the one just after the Olifantsfontein Offramp.
08:00 and leave 09:15.
Take the N1 North
Take the N14 towards Krugersdorp
Take R55 towards Kaylami.
It's nice 25 kilometer drive in a convoy and we will be there before 10:00 as requested by Michael from the BMW Club Gauteng.
The reason I suggested this was to drive in a convoy and actually enjoy it going to this monumental happening.
I also said in previous posts that I know some people are very close to Kaylami but it would be nice if they can join the convoy.
You know, when I still stayed in Centurion, I live 8 kilo's away from that Shell, but on every ice cream / hot chocolate run that I attended, I had to drive on the N1 South and take the Olifantsfontein off ramp and drive all the way back to the Shell N1 North bound, but I did not bitch and moan.
Long story short. You can either join me on the convoy as I posted, or you can do your own thing and meet up somewhere else or at Kaylami. Nobody is forcing nobody.
Pick your choose.
