I'm in for a convoy, depends on where we meeting.

Only problem is that kyalami is probably the most central meeting point...

Let's meet at the usual spot..... Everyone knows where it is and we can grab a coffee before hand.....
That way we can all travel through together.
The Shell garage on the N1.
What dyou think? 10 o'clock?

According to Guiness World Record Website current record is only 178...

http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/3000/largest-parade-of-bmw-cars

They tried to beat it in the UK in Feb: http://www.facebook.com/events/309254972521450/ no numbers quoted and again last Saturday (15 June) http://www.facebook.com/events/625464757483045/ but only got 162 cars.

I reckon we could get more fanatics than that there at the same time..
We can beat that with Fanatics alone :roflol: Come on guys. With the fanatics of the Charity run we are 30% there on our own :bravo:

Seems a bit silly paying EFT before-hand and trying to control who paid at the gate. The amount is not an issue (R20), but just afraid that the logistics might be challenging in the current format, if they are expecting a large crowd.

Any BMWCarClub members here care to comment or advise?

I would have kept it open - register on the site (optional) and pay on arrival (compulsory). That way you also attract more "last minute" guys.

Mo, just pay the 20 bucks. :) You can't even get 2 liters of milk for R20 nowadays.
You can get 746ml of Quick Detailer if you buy it from Mo :roflol: :roflol: :roflol::biglol: :roflol:

Frazer I think 10 o'clock is a bit late. Considering it is a 20-25 min drive. Then we have to register and they would want to brief us as well ? Counting in the traffic there on the day ? Getting through the gate and look for our designated parking spots ? Procession starts at 12h00. What about 9 o'clock to leave at 9h30?
