Looks like fun, pity I was unable to make it. Great pics Philip. See you all at the BMW Festival later in the month.

Was fantastic, and I reckon we'll definitely go there again! Very nice venue, and great photo opportunities at night which was a bit of a problem at Starlight Diner...

Looking forwards to the BMW Festival and of course the run out to Franshoek! Did you manage to get some new rear boots for your car?

Hey Philip. Yes, now fronts and rears are brand spanking new. There was a downside, but it has an upside. I warned the tyre place to take care of the rims when fitting the tyres and guess what?. Yup, they scratched the lips. Now all four are in for repairs...but not at my cost. Must say, the tyre people have been a real pleasure to deal with, and have gone out of their way to give me good prices and service, despite this little blunder. Also had Jeff's carpet repaired, and will get it cleaned this weekend. So slow progress continues.

That's crazy! I think the next time I need new tyres I will rather take the wheels and new tyres to a mag repair place and have them fit the new tyres! At least then if it gets scratched it's at the right place anyway!

Out of interest, which tyres did you end up getting?

Good idea. I think it should be a monthly thing like we did at Starlight Diner
