i think you will have tough time if someone gave you trouble about those tires and as far as i know semis have to have some sort of road legal certificate... but im not 100% sure...

With all this searching for suitable tyres Iv'e gone into procrastination mode. I'm considering being dragged into the 21st century kicking and screaming and I'm actually considering 19" rims. The tyres that would work well for this choice are:

R: Pirelli P Zero Corsa System, 345 /35R19 => OD = 28.50" Rim Width = 13"
F: Pirelli P Zero Corsa System, 305 /30ZR19 => OD = 26.30" Rim Width = 11"

This of course now means new rims as well. The biggest problem I've run into now is that most of the rim manufacturers make wheels that are only up to about 10" wide. That includes BBS and VMR.

I don't have a major problem in widening rims by professionally welding in a band into the current rim to make it wider, but I would prefer buying rims with the correct width.

BTW, I have found that the only production car I could find with these rear tyres (there are probably more) are the Viper SRT 2010.

Funny thing is that all the Vipers had different rim diameters for front and rear. Up to about 2010 they had 18" front and 19" rear, and later on (now) they have 19" fronts and 20" rear.

I always thought that there was something that looked a bit funny about Vipers when I looked at them, but couldn't figure it out. Now I know - different rim OD sizes - I don't fancy it much.

The style I like the most is BBS LM or similar.

Any of the clever dudes here have some suggestions? It would be highly appreciated.

I just found this - Forgeline - widths up to 16". Prices are a bit steep tho.

Minimum Recommended Wheel Width is 12" for the rears, so 11" would just be pushing it a bit IMHO. 11" is perfect for the fronts.

If I could get 4 X 11" rims, I'll have two widened for 13". If they break, I crash and die, that's also OK, Iv'e had a relatively good life up to now.:rollsmile:

Yup, it's Blackstone Tek in Northriding, quite close to where I live. They make really nice wheels, but alas only for bikes.

I wonder why they don't make car wheels, it can't be all that hard. They have all the equipment.

you probably find they dont think there is a market yet for the car wheels... it takes alot of development cost to get this right so they probably dont what to spend money on that unless they sure they will sell
