Group buy: e46 330d uprated cast exhaust manifold

Hi there,

I will be importing one of these myself and I have asked the seller if he would be interested in a group buy. He is going to work out a price for me for 5 when he is in the office. But the cost is 129 pounds around R2300 on the eBay shop.

This is not a genuine item but it is a solution for the 150kw 330d steel manifolds that crack without loosing power by changing to the earlier cast manifold. It is also for early e60s and is an upgrade for the 135kw cast manifold.

Here is a pic of the 135kw cast manifold in comparison to the 150kw steel manifold. As you can see the steel manifold is almost double in thickness and the outlet to the turbo is also substantially larger.

Here is what the uprated cast manifold looks like. As you can see it is very thick almost thicker than the steel manifold! It also comes with all gaskets and bolts for installation.

Ya but upgrade because race car! This manifold is like double the e39 cast manifold as you can see by the pics. And anyway the people who it would be most beneficial to would be the 150kw 330d drivers.

The first and second pic is the pic I stole from Nikhil. It is the steel manifold vs the OEM cast manifold. The other pics are the steel manifold vs the cast manifold which replicates the steel manifold with higher flow. It is quite a bit bigger than the OEM cast manifold.

How much bigger is the internal diameter of the mani? How much bigger is the flange connecting to the turbo?

I will ask the seller for specifications. But as you can see the oem cast is about half the size where the flange connects to the turbo but it is about the same maybe ever so slightly bigger than the steel one.
