This is how the cooling system has been on the car since I assembled it many years ago.
333 Alpina radiator and fan with 535 oil cooler.
The standard 333 oil cooler fits in the open space next to the radiator.
Where the oil cooler is currently located I shall fit an aircon condenser from a 333.
Here is a pic of the mock up
This condenser was stored in my parts (read that as a compulsive hoarder) store for many years.
It struck me that a condenser can have limited use as a water cooler in as much as it is used under higher pressure in its designed form and would be able to assist in cooling the car down.
The tubes are roughly 6 meters in length.
I have organised a 333 oil cooler from a friend (Ram3on)and will take it to have one made to identical dimensions.
It will then be installed in the correct location next to the radiator thus filling up the cradle recess which will assist in air not escaping through the big "hole"
More to follow.
