Hi, today the temp hit 30degC in JHB, most of the guys were cooling their cars down before running.

Ran the M135i and after all the traction control issues were sorted the car was already too hot but made 260.9HP and 372NM at the wheels about the same as Oldman's M235i give or take a KW/NM, his car was the only other car at the time I was able to benchmark against.

How does H&M compare to KAR?

What an awesome event! There wasn't a moment's time to rest and everyone were fantastic!

Pity your M wasn't around it would have drawn a lot of interest, didn't get to meet you maybe next time.

Thanks man
No Mods yet. Only m performance silencer, but no gains on that...as we know.
Wanted a stock dyno figure...

Not sure on difference between this dyno and Kar. Not bothered, I think HM is a lot nicer to attend, plus cleaner all round.
Will gauge any mods on this dyno going forward...

Perhaps someone who has run on both can advise if there is a difference with regards to numbers.

Glad your car got sorted in the end bud

Cool, very impressive for just M Perf Back Box. I ran KAR two weeks back and ran 219.3KW and 479NM at the wheels, also trying to get a baseline before mods go in the next few weeks.

I am going to go back to H&M in the week before Xhorst to see if today's run was consistent.

Awesome event. The "operating hours" suit me much better, can get done what you need to on your Saturday then relax. The night vibe was cool and HM Auto seems like a really proper venue. Will probably return there for future runs. Well done to the organisers and all those involved. Sorry about breaking the dyno.

Was a good event! I was not there for too long but enjoyed it thoroughly! Well done to the organizers :clapper:

Happy with my results, I ran mine at KAR as per my thread some time ago, it was a cold morning though and I think KAR is an optimistic dyno, yesterday was hotter. Still happy with the results @278hp/377nm for a stock car but my torque was too low.

We shall do so again gents. O yes and thanks to Firoze for my plates, very pleased.

O and my figures @ KAR were: 297hp/413nm. So big difference in torque so not sure how to account for it..

Morning!

Thank you post, once again!!

Many thanks to my team of event coordinators, this event was real team work.

Firoze arranged the venue and sorted the logistics directly with HM Auto. I am sure we can all agree the venue was classy and efficient.

Fuzz and I did the setup and pack up, anyone will tell you this is probably the worst job at an event.

Spiro and 444yyy made sure the crowd was happy and that socializing was the aim of the day.

"We have never had this many high powered cars one out Dyno" HM Auto

We broke their Dyno, at 8:30pm, the chains on the Dyno snapped, leaving 6 cars outside unable to perform the Dyno run. It is what it is, we refunded the 6 and began prize giving.

Many thanks to Hannes and Mannes of HM Auto, as well as there eager to smile crew. Your workshop is classy, it's smart and efficient. I just love how you can sit comfortably and watch the days goings.

To the sponsors, Clean Car Technologies, Axis, OBDWorx and Carbon Doctor, many thanks for sponsoring trophies and prizes for this event. (I will upload results tomorrow and contact each winner accordingly).

Participants and spectators, thank you guys for coming through in support. The event was a major success and a good event too. Personally had a ball of a time chatting with you and checking out awesome machines operate...

A special thanks to Fuzz, Azhar and Shezaad from Clean Car Technologies for being there till the end and assisting with packing and cleaning up.

Ps... Results will be posted up tomorrow or as soon as I receive them from HM Auto.
