Some curb rash... But otherwise very happy!

What's the cost of a re-furb these days?

Well done, those are awesome wheels. Still love them...

Cost of refurb can be anything from R1500 to R4000. You get what you pay for.

I would advise against a refurb, i know its not something you want to hear but you might just have to live with the curb rash. Refurbing will mean painting, hence you will loose the BMW Motorsport logo on the wheels. Unless off course whoever is doing it can do it properly and save the logo.

Wise words Arbee.
Reckon I'll try get my hands on a wheel touch up kit rather than a repaint.

Those m sport logos can be bought on ebay. Even if they're just stickers. Then just stick them on before clear coat has been applied and then spray clear on top.

You guys may or may not know This , these style 216 wheels came off a model called the 320si of which only 2600 cars were built.

They came as a staggered wheel with 8 and 8,5 respectively.

You have a true gem of a wheel there

I don't think so Sash, as these are BMW Motorsport racing wheels- style 216 AKA BBS RD300, featured on the 320si in celebration of the E90s entry into BTCC.

OPshould hold on to these as they are not readily available world wide.
How did OP get hold of them?

Also, I think that you should go ahead and refurb as you can always get the wheel guy to blank the name out or just get some vinyl cutouts.
Whilst a you're at the vinyl cutout guy, get a set of the bbs logo made up too.... Proper Motorsport styling then....BOOM!!!

That's correct...

However i do know that they were offered on a local derivative of the E90 (Remember 2 members of the forum having them)

I think you're right!

'Honeycomb' interior bits was one of the features...
Could be alcantara seats also? Not too sure...
