very slight vibration in the prop around 100km/h, I think maybe a weight has been knocked off at some stage so I will get it re-balanced soon.

Please tell us afterwards who you used, and if they succeeded, because I still want to see who can properly balance a BMW propshaft.

Could it have been caused by the rear half of the prop hanging entirely from the centrebearing?

Doubt it, this propshaft is pretty scuffed up and besides I fitted a good centre bearing to it.
Boetie has given me a contact across the road from Booysens Police Station, he swears by this guy, he is next to Delport.

Any reason why the handbrake shoes on the M3 is wider than on the 330i? Can't really think of a reason why you would what more "stopping power" from the handbrake :dunno:
The diameter is the same though? (between M3 and 330i)

Same diameter.

Actually that difference in rear disc size is a mistake (made a boo boo on real oem) but I can't edit the stupid thing 'cos im still not a mod...

I took the Style 32's off and fitted them to the wife's 330i so I had the 29's collecting dust and popped them on to try it out.








Oh and the 32's on the 330i.

Nice work on the diff swap and brake upgrade, looks really cool. Not so sure about the rims on the Touring though. But we all have different tastes. :thumbs:
