Which is slightly lower than the std ones ?
Does this apply for the individual e46 as well ?
If you had to put for eg. Eibach or H&R will it be lower than the M-Sport Suspension ?

Yes slightly lower than exclusive. Individual should be the same as Msport but I could be wrong. Eibach and H&R would be lower still.

What'd you do with the original E90 sportpack rims you had fitted? I really dig them. Wonder if they'd fit my F20???

They on my buddy's 330i touring.

I have a matching set from a 330i (key EWS DME) that I can use temporarily but the idea is to change the eprom to a 330i one on my original DME.

Well lemme know if you ready and I can pair up the DME to your existing EWS. You don't want to be using a lockset as it'll mess with the mileage on the car and show up a tamper dot.

If I remember, the 2.5 and 3.0 DMEs are the same hardware. So we might just be able to load the 3.0 maps on your existing DME.

Either way, I can sort you out chop chop.

The donor M54B30 is coming out the black X3, having the 4wd system with a front diff and sideshafts throws a curve ball into the mix as its not easy to simply pull the motor out as the front axle is running through the sump. After lots of head-scratching I figured the best way would be to drop the entire motor/gearbox/front sub frame in one piece like it was built in the factory. Now with the assembly out I have the room to continue the engine swap.
