Hi Guys!
This is a very exciting idea that has been mentioned and talked about by myself and some other Fanatics. I don't know if this has been done before but it would be absolutely EPIC if something like this could materialise.
Especially the ///M fanatics that are lusting for Coastal power this is the opportunity we all have been waiting for.
So the details that need confirmation are as follows.
Where do we want to drive to.
-Durban
-South coast (margate, toti, scottburgh area)
or any other suggestion.
The motivation will primarily be where all our accommodation will be located and where the final destination will be for us.
So obviously some of us can go visit family or friends and then again meet up for the drive back to GP.
Alternatively we can arrange group accommodation and we can all pitch in and make that happen. 4piper can chip in here.
When will this happen
Also open for debate. But being a difficult event to organise we need a lot of lead time and somewhere that won't interfere with all our regular annual leave/family time.
So ballpark month's, lets say October somewhere? It will be warm and pleasant and lets keep it outside of any peak seasons for traffic.
From where will we depart
This should become clear once we know the other details. Like driving to durbs, staying at xxx hotel for 3 days and then leaving from the hotel parking lot at 9am.
