What an awesome day! Big ups to all that involved!

Arbee, I know you put a colossal amount of effort into this event and it showed! You can be proud! BMWFanatics as an organisation can be proud. A bit of a slow crowd in the morning but picked up for sure as the day wore on. These early winter mornings are brutal so thats understandable :rollsmile:

Was awesome today to put some names to Forum names. Always nice to spend many hours talking about cars and NOT be looked at like you came straight out of Weskoppies (too soon?) The E39 Mafia was out in force today imp:

I also took some pics, of course nothing like Divio's but nevertheless I will upload perhaps on Monday as I don't have a great connection at home...

Still feels surreal that its done and we pulled it off...

Couple small issues where guys were driving on an ACTIVE AIRFIELD. Thank fully nothing was damaged or we didn't distract any aircraft activities but the control centre was not happy with us. We got a slap om the wrist for that. Whoever drove on the side ROAD from the Show and Shine spot to the photoshoot spot, thank you. To those that used the shortcut, you guy are rebellious characters and should be more aware of you surroundings. Some just did it to drive recklessly as its an open area. Reckless driving is not allowed and not tollerated at events. We have access to footage and will be dishing out warnings.

Other than that big one, we didn't expect that much response to the photoshoot. Okes were coming through at 4pm. We had asked the guards at entrance to close off our event so if you came through after 4 and got turned away, im sorry but photoshoot entries closed and we had a decent crowd to keep us going.

Divio was tired as we expected 10 cars for photoshoot. Ended up with a bit more.

I hope there is no serious issues with the short cuts from the photo shoot down to the gate:fencelook::fencelook: and the one guy with the cabriolet that went behind the hanger and interfered with the film shoot and parked his car at the bi-plane while they were shooting ?

Arbee thanks for the day, came to Swartkops Saturday morning and did not know what to expect there, everything on pm and whatsapps, very happy everything turned out good.

I cant even remember all the winners of the raffle. We had only 7 seats. So 6 winners and Divio. Apologies for the decrease in numbers. The pilot was not happy with 10 or 9 or 8.
