Fuel Consumption E46 318i N42

Hi all fanatics,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of fuel consumption they get with the N42B20A engine. My car feels like its too heavy on petrol. I drive the car a bit hard some times but most of the time I drive decently. My car gets an average of 7.5 to 8.0 km/L in the city. What can I do to get these numbers to look more like 10 km/L?

I have been thinking of decatting the car but I'm not fond of taking a part out that is still kinda working.

Is there any specific areas that I should be looking at to get my car a bit more efficient?

that consumption is normal, highway you'll get about 12km/l travelling at 120-130km/h
maybe put a diesel engine in your car to get consumption lower:rollsmile:
