You guys have slow x35s...:=):....

The e46 M3 is an icon and still beautiful to look at despite its age. When it first came out it was the benchmark in its segment and i dont think that will change. The e46 M3 is a car to love, respect and enjoy. I always get very excited when i see one. No debate there. :joy:

The 335 in tuned state even slightly is a formidable animal. The stock handling is not wonderful but just a few tweaks to that suspension and you have a car that begs you to hammer it everytime. NA vs Turbo/c is a non issue for me like auto vs manual. I am fortunate that i can enjoy the best of both worlds...but there is just nothing and i say nothing more exciting than feeling and hearing those turbos come on song and the natural smile on ones face when it all comes together...if i want to rev the neighbours dogs out of their kennels i can always pop in another toy of mine.

But the key i instinctively choose from the bundle in the morning is the one with a turbo in it.

But thats just me.

Yep, a few things to consider - take an E46 M3, a 135i and a 335i and compare them. In a straight line the 135i and 335i are faster than the M3 respectively. But when it comes to handling and feel this is where an M car comes into its own. Still, if the HPFP problems were a thing of the past, I would most definitely be interested in a 335i - but then I don't have an E46 M3, so...

I remember watching a review vid not to long ago, 335 vs 135 vs e46 M3. x35 just got the lead in the 0-100 sprint but the M3 took them all on lap test.

Pretty even cars but obviously very different characteristics. I still think that the e46 puts some modern cars to shame and the M3 definitely isn't out-dated. Really comes down to what you feel once you test drive the 335.

I have owned a 4 door 3.2. I actually regret selling it cause I so much miss the high revving motor. Drove E46 and E92 M3's on numerous occassions and I have to admit that I will take a M3 any day over a 335i.

Sure the 335i with stage 2 and dp etc will cream a M3, but put a M3 e92 with stage 2 and exhaust on a race track and you will see who comes out top.

Straight line speed aint everything.

M3 FTW

You are itching....... so scratch it.
I personally don’t like F.I cars in general, so I won’t make that change.
I frequently change cars, and every single one of the ex’ I miss. Unfortunately you can’t keep everything.

PS – I want your wheels before you start with your scratching….. please

Im sorry have to disagree with you.In stock form i pulled a couple of M's straight line, although i will go on to say that if the driver knows what his doing, off the line the M is king, well until 3rd or so :biglol:

This will derail the thread a bid but...
All depends on a fanatics member(s).:fencelook:
If he doesnt take it, i might just end up keeping it. Which is really not the end of the world. In fact, everytime i drive it i am thinking to myself why the hell do i want to get rid of such perfection..... almost

I went from an E46 M3 to an E90 M3 to a E92 335i. So far I am happy with the 335i. It should tide me over until the next M3 comes out.
